Feb. 11 update: Regretfully, the 2025 Tour of Tsalteshi race event has been canceled due to conditions around the Skyview Trailhead. We will have a ski and bike meetup at the K-Beach Trailhead from noon to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, followed by an after party at 3 p.m at Kenai River Brewing. We hope to see you there!
The Tour of Tsalteshi is a premier long-distance Nordic ski or fat bike race which incorporates the majority of the Tsalteshi Trail system into one amazing race!
Divisions for the 2025 tour:
- 10K Freestyle (Half Tour, skate or classic)
- 20K Skate
- 20K Classic
- 40K Freestyle (skate or classic)
- 20K Fat Bike Tour
- 20K Ski and 20K Fat Bike Tour (additional $10 fee to do both – you don't have to register twice!)
- Nothing But Party! Not feeling like racing this year but still want to celebrate the trails? Skip the race and join us at the after-party at Kenai River Brewing, starting at 3 p.m. The Tour is an expensive event to organize. Your donation helps us defray the costs already spent and will help us be able to hold another Tour next year.

Ski tour bib pickup starts at 10 a.m. with race start at 11:30am.
Fat bike tour bib pickup starts at 12:00 p.m. with race start at 1:30pm.
The 10K ski starts at Skyview and ends at the K-Beach trailhead.
There is no shuttle for Half Tour skiers. Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation from the K-Beach trailhead.
